yamago Terms of Use
Effective: August 14, 2026 · Last revised: October 3, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms set out the conditions for using the hiking record app “yamago” (the “App”) provided by HAPIVERI Healthcare.ai (“we”). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
2. The service
The App provides features such as recording hiking tracks with GPS, working with Apple Watch, monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen, and creating hiking plans.
3. Fees and subscription
- For 30 days from when you first start using the App, all features are available as a free trial.
- After the trial ends, a yamago PRO subscription (¥500 per month or ¥5,000 per year in Japan, tax included; in other countries and regions, the price shown in the App Store) is required to start a new recording. Viewing your past records remains free.
- Subscriptions are paid through your Apple ID in the App Store and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel on your iPhone under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
4. Important safety information (disclaimer)
- Hiking is an activity that involves risk to life. Information in the App (GPS, altitude, routes, heart rate and blood oxygen alerts, and so on) is supplementary reference information, and we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
- Recording and notifications may not work properly because of signal conditions, a drained battery, GPS error and similar causes. Carrying a map and compass, submitting a hiking plan to the authorities, and preparing appropriate gear and plans are your own responsibility.
- We accept no liability for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Reverse engineering, redistributing or misusing the App
- Infringing the rights of third parties or of us
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the App and its related logos, designs and content belong to us.
7. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as needed. The changed terms take effect when they are posted on this page.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to the App.
