yamago Privacy Policy

HAPIVERI Healthcare.ai (“we”) sets out below how we handle user information in the hiking record app “yamago” (the “App”).

1. Information we collect

Location (GPS): collected to record your track, distance and altitude while hiking. Because recording continues in the background, we may ask you to allow location access “Always”.
Health data: heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, step count and workouts, obtained through Apple Health (HealthKit) and only within the permissions you grant.
Account information: your Sign in with Apple identifier, and your name only if you choose to share it.
Hiking plans and records: mountain name, date, gear checklist, and an emergency contact if you choose to enter one.

2. How we use it

To provide hike recording, statistics and review features
To notify you about unusual heart rate or blood oxygen readings and when to take a break (safety support)
To provide features that work with Apple Watch

3. Where it is stored, and sharing with third parties

Your records are stored only on your device and in iCloud (the CloudKit private database) tied to your own Apple ID. They are not sent to any server operated by us, and we do not provide or sell them to third parties, including advertisers. In line with Apple’s guidelines, we never use health data for marketing purposes.

4. Payment information

Payments for the subscription (yamago PRO) are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your credit card details or similar information.

5. Deleting your data

Deleting the App removes the data stored on your device. Data in iCloud can be deleted on your iPhone under Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

6. Changes

If we revise this policy, we will announce it on this page.
